Fine Chaos for Storm

Once again we have teamed up with the young and good people from Copenhagen based brand Fine Chaos to celebrate our 30 years anniversary.

The collaboration and collection is build on memories that we, the Storm family, have created together with friends and partners during the past 30 years, both as a family and as a business.

Some of these memories we even share with Creative Director of Fine Chaos from his visits in the store as a kid and up until now.

"Signature Bag" is a premium, heavy cotton canvas bag designed based on our signature bags. The bag features multiple hardware details and features. The bag comes with shoulder straps in matching pink and short straps in both pink and orange, which allows the bag to be carried by hand, over the shoulder and crossbody. All straps are removable, and the bag zips fully.

Specifications - 100% Organic Cotton. Made in Pakistan. Measurements - Width: 41 cm. Height: 41 cm Depth: 12 cm. Short and long straps.

Silphium

Silphium (probably of the genus Ferula) was a plant that grew in the area of Cyrene, present day Libya, and was widely renowned as a spice, medicinal herb and perfume ingredient throughout the empires of the classical antiquity. It was praised by Greek philosophers and writers, as well as Roman emperors and cookbook authors. This is combination with its qualities as seasoning and medicine made Silphium the most valuable spice in the world, outshining both saffron and cinnamon. The demand for Silphium eventually became so overwhelming that it was harvested to extinction, and the taste and smell of the once greatest spice in the world was lost in time.

Top notes: Silphium accord, cistus

Heart notes: Cinnamon, tobacco leaf, geranium, black pepper, ginger, clove

Base notes: Frankinscense, cedarwood, myrrh, leather.

Slow Dance, the new scent from Byredo, is an oriental amber, a passage before adulthood, a feeling of joy, clumsiness, knowing and not knowing, a feeling through time, across countries, cultures, and in yourself.

In Slow Dance, Byredo founder Ben Gorham articulates an element of his autobiography through scent; hoping to invoke the tremulous moment before boys take on a mantle of manhood — a mantle not always truthful. The sincerity of this moment in time, before the threshold of adulthood is passed. A moment where girls and boys, women and men are neither so different nor so distant, accepting of each other in a profound and guileless way. This is what is ultimately celebrated in Slow Dance.

The new fragrance will be availabe SEP 5 in EDP (50ml and 100ml), hand cream and hair perfume.

New Solar Hu Glides drop July 20th

The colourful Pharrell Williams x Adidas Solar Hu Glide collection will have new additions of more natural tones. Crisp white, cream, black and mid grey shoes will bring balance to the almost technicolour colour scheme of the other sneakers.

The sneakers feature a completely tonal mesh upper, playfully combining different variations of shades and weaving techniques. The segment synthetic pieces take up the overlaid eye stay and heel support, while the whole shoe sits atop a full-length BOOST midsole. The pair is finished with reflective detailing and embroidered “HU” on the toe box.

The watch collection was conceived as a tribute to the attitude of the colour black, designed in a close collaboration between Rasmus Storm and the design team at TRIWA. The watches are designed in black, letting variations of textures and depth feature as indicators, with the exception of the shiny gold detailing on the hands that adds a bit of flare to the watch. "Creating the watch was a constant exchange of ideas between me and TRIWA. We tried to design a feeling, an attitude, a way of living. The outcome is a watch embracing black with all its darkness and shadows being both classic and strong”, says Rasmus Storm. Buy the watches here.
