“I was in my teens when I first discovered Helmut Newton’s picture that made YSL’s ‘Le Smoking’ iconic. The genderlessness really made a big impression on me. With stark monochrome simplicity, Newton created a piece of iconography I still find myself inspired by. In the making of L'air Barbès I was strongly influenced by the androgyny in this picture. L'air Barbès by 19-69 is evocative of Paris’ different personas such as the concrete alleyways, la banlieue and of course, the area Barbès – Rochechouart. The fragrance is also a tribute to Paris, capitale de la mode.”

The scent La Habana is based on a sailor’s reminiscence of Cuba before the revolution. The scent shines a light on the island’s golden musical era between the 1930s and 1950s.
The scent is aromatic, smokey and alluring.
“Known as a playground for the mafia and wealthy elite, Havana in the mid 1900s hosted many vibrant music venues like the Tropicana or the members’ guild Buena Vista Social Club. The rhythmic pulsations of Habanera, Latin Jazz and Salsa that were heard everywhere coupled with the dazzling showgirls, added to the tropical island’s allure. After the revolution in 1959 many establishments closed down and with that an era of Havana ended. The scent La Habana is inspired by my uncle who was a sailor, his narratives of Cuba.”

Artist Virgil Abloh designed a glorious collection based on his high school experience. Pusha-T drug raps. Champion gym uniforms. Caravaggio obsession. Michael Jordan as God. Kurt Cobain felt the most real. Black kid with white tendencies. Being self-taught was the extent of his art education. Added help from living and breathing youth street skate culture combined with living in Rome and Paris. THE YOUTH WINS GAMES. No matter the sport. Pavement. Concrete. Le Fix was founded in Copenhagen in 1999 by Benny Kusk, Rasmus Jacobsen and Jesper Holm, and from the very beginning the store on Guldbergsgade ?served as a framework? for the brand's history, which spans from design to art, street culture, tattoos, graffiti, music and clothing.
Today, Le Fix is ??an established name on the culture and fashion scene, but has managed to brand's mascot, Kaj, as the main focus. Kaj has been a part of Le Fix from the beginning and the logo for the collection illustrates Kaj as he started out, how he looks today and what he could become in the future.
The collection consists of two t-shirts and a hoodie. In addition, two t-shirts, in very limited numbers, have been screen printed in Denmark, following the same technique used to produce the brand's very first t-shirts in 1999.
