Guillermo Andrade, founder of Los Angeles- based boutique 424 on Fairfax introduces his first collection. The deeply personal designs are based on his experience with new technology and his adaptation of style. "I was not allowed to visit my brother, who was deported [back] to Guatemala," explained Andrade. "Google Earth made me feel closer to him, being able to see where he was brought me a bit of peace.“ As personal this collection is - he wants his customers to make it their own. "Just download Google Earth, find your place on the planet, type your location on top of the image, get some clear floss or thread, and stitch it onto your jacket.“ Guillermo Andrade introduced his collection during CPH Fashion Week.

Eytys 48 hours in Kyiv by Sasha Kurmaz. Photographer and visual artist Sasha Kurmaz was born in Kiev in 1986, right after the notorious Chernobyl disaster. Although starting his artistic path as a graffiti artist, Kurmaz describes his work as ”photographic” regardless the medium; installations, paintings, video or producing photo zines. For Eytys SS’15 collection Kurmaz created this photo zine and patterns echoing slogans from the current Ukranian turmoil, urging pro- democracy and calling for civil rights. The patterns are seen on the Eytys Spring/Summer 2015 collection of printed sneakers, packaging and installations. The book launches Friday January 30th.

According to Matthew Williams, founder and creative director, 1017 ALYX 9SM stands for a metropolitan and industrial sensibility that is never dry or cold. Function and comfort, which are mandatory for both 1017 ALYX 9SM and Moncler, define a modern line up of modular outerwear. Puffers, padded parkas, featherweight parka windbreakers, sleeveless vests and bonded leather pieces are mixed with functional base layers and hi-impact accessories such as chain belts with hooks, hooded backpacks and neoprene boots with rubber soles. The color palette is suitably metropolitan: dominantly black, grey and white with outbursts of orange and red.

A Lab on Fire is THE unlikely company: an enigma wrapped in mystery. An ingenious niche limited-production fragrance house in a surpisingly compact waterfront studio- within-a-studio that looks across the East River to Manhattan. A Lab On Fire amphasize the hands-on aspects of creating original fragrances along with its priorities for their safety, stability, freshness and quality. Each frangrance, created by a famous nose like Thierry Wasser, Dominique Ropion and Olivier Polge, is batched at a state-of-the-art factory in New Jersey but packaged by Brooklyn neighborhood artists whose handlabeling sometimes results in serendipitous touches that lend individual character to each bottle.

How does an object change with use or over time? This question is the driving force behind Samuel Ross's work on the Nike x A–COLD–WALL* Capsule Collection, starring a radical reworking of the 2010 Nike Zoom Vomero +5. "I am interested in how a garment ages and in taking the user on that journey. That is something I believe should be encouraged. It's much more human. It's much more dynamic as well," says the London-born designer.
The Nike x A–COLD–WALL* Capsule Collection reflects this philosophy in inventive fabrics, including a technical Japanese nylon that softens with warmth and heat, and the removal of PU coatings from the Nike Zoom Vomero +5 to accelerate the aging process (manifested by a yellowing).

For the first time, Riccardo Tisci brings the sensual Givenchy man to the world of rock and roll. The fall/winter collection revisits his obsessions with America, sport, sexuality, greek neo-classicism, the flag of the United States of America, and infuses a strong latin attitude and mapplethorpe iconography. The overall mood is powerful whilst the silhouettes mix high couture elegance, utility workwear and urban streetwear. Inspired by black and white imagery celebrating the body and sexuality, the collection is rooted in this binary palette but studded with various hues of grey. Starched leather paired with chunky charcoal tweeds offer a contrast between shiny and matte textures. A cotton poplin shirt features sleeves and shoulders in velvet. A collar-less duffle coat is constructed of grained leather and compact wool. An x-ray print of the stars & stripes appears on a velvet sweatshirt.

The Autumn Winter 2017 Collection is all about duality, a reoccurring theme throughout the seasons. With this collection, the brand wants to push the idea further and explore the balance between high and low, mixing everyday essentials with refined pieces. The girl in mind is consequent in her style yet brave and exploring.
Leather, fur, faux fur, wool jackets and coats are the very core of the brand as well as of this season’s collection. The colour palette of warm neutrals, petrol and injections of rich burnished crimsons, pink and dusty blue are turned up with a wider selection of animal prints. All adding to the relaxed, urban, sporty yet sophisticated spirit that STAND is all about.
