Darling for several seasons at London Collections Men, award-winning British fashion designer Craig Green is on everybody’s lips, today one of Britain’s most lauded menswear designers. Known for his Asian inspired clean designs, Green tributes tennis icon Björn Borg and his heritage through this limited edition collection, also marking his debut in designing a full sportswear collection. The Craig Green x Björn Borg capsule collection incorporates light and shadow in 18 different unisex garments in off-white and black. On October 25th we hosted the exclusive launch of the collection in Denmark.

In their latest collaboration Adidas has teamed up with London-born designer Craig Green. Green’s cult-like runway processions have become a highly anticipated fixture of the menswear calendar. Though known for their dramatic and deeply emotive qualities, his collections are firmly rooted in the steady development of simple, yet rigorously considered signature garments.

Crystal Haze is bottled up excitement. It’s oriental, spicy yet floral. It represents those moments of youth that were euphoric and undefinable. Top notes of tuberose and sweet orange create a creamy-sweet opening preparing your senses for a rush of bright energy. This energy is harnessed through a heart of synthetic fibres and fresh cotton that kick in almost immediately. On the dry down, base notes of an imagined ironed shirt, bitter crystal musks and vanilla give an electric fresh feel to this perfume.

Founded in 2007 by David (DS) and Kavi (Durga) Moltz, making small batches of scented products for friends and family. D.S. & Durga sources their ingredients from all over, cherry picking the best of this and the most useful of that. The art of perfume is more about how you use your items, not just their quality. Off-notes, unexpected combinations, and novel constructions are the core of ther aromatic vision.

David is really a perfumer. He taught himself how to make perfume by immersing himself in all things fragrant. He is passionate about translating musical and literary spaces into scent. Each fragrance is conceived and constructed by D.S with no middleman or interpretation from an outside perfumer.

This vital new book A Bigger Picture, is published to accompany the exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, 21 January - 9 April 2012.

David Hockney has always been closely associated with Pop Art and California, where he has lived for much of his life but this major study of his work redefines him as an important painter of the English countryside, presenting his recent landscapes for the first time. In an attempt to renew contemporary art, Hockney has returned to painting in the open air, observing with honesty and intensity the scenery of his childhood in East Yorkshire.

Co-curator of the exhibition Marco Livingstone explores this bold departure in the context of Hockney’s sixty-year career, while other contributors address the artist’s place in the landscape tradition, his recent video works and their relationship to English landscape film-making, and his ongoing use of new technologies.
