The first title in a new series from tastemakers Monocle, this is a fun, informative collection of portraits and biographical interviews with 50 architects from all over the world sitting on their sofas revealing their style, wit, personality – and sofa choices.
Bringing architects and their sofas together in a lighthearted way, this book aims to find out what makes some of the world’s most famous architects and designers tick. Each of its fifty entries features a portrait of an architect on their sofa, taken at their own home or workplace, sometimes with their family, their pets or with other possessions, each photograph capturing essential details about the architect’s life, work and style. An in-depth interview accompanies each entry, so that readers find out not just about their sofa (for example whether or not they designed it, and if not why they chose it, and who it was designed by) but also about their life, their work, what they’re passionate about and what they struggle with.
Taken together, this collection of photographic portraits and interviews provides unique insights into the minds and lives of some of the greatest architects of our time. In addition, a special foldout presents 100 architect-designed sofas from the last century with designs by Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto, Charlotte Perriand, Verner Panton, Cini Boeri, Zaha Hadid, John Pawson, and many more.

Christoph Niemann
This elaborate book features over 160 ink and pencil drawings by Christoph Niemann, each a story of an unfamiliar place. They are observations on traveling, arriving and immersing oneself, on the melancholy of being on the road and the adventure of discovering new destinations—among them New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Seville and Kyoto. Regardless of their subjects, these are all iconic sketches, capable of grasping the magic, light and mood of a place in a handful of virtuoso strokes. In Niemann’s own words in Souvenir: “Over time memories change. Most things fade, while others become more significant. Connections arise that one wasn’t aware of originally. Sometimes a drawing can capture all this in a new and surprising way. And with some luck, the picture feels as authentic as the moment itself.”

Wes Anderson
An archive is always a time-machine, but the archives of Wes Anderson take us on a journey not just through time, but through the layers of stories and the experiences of storytelling - on paper and on film.

Also included: an extensive interview with Anderson himself, reflecting on his films and working process.
Wes Anderson: The Archives accompanies the first retrospective exhibition of Anderson's work, curated by la Cinémathèque française in Paris and the Design Museum in London in partnership with Wes Anderson.

The British Museum
The overwhelmingly spectacular landscape of the region features prominently in many works – dark fjords, vast uninhabited mountain ranges and heavily forested areas provide a counterpoint to depictions of densely crowded, highly developed urban spaces viewed through the Nordic lens. A growing mood of melancholy and existential angst, emerging from the trauma of the Second World War and the uncertain threat of the Cold War, is often illustrated by a lone, brooding figure. Prints from the 1970s convey a deep criticism of US foreign policy and the Vietnam War, but ironically adopt the iconography of American Pop Art by using striking contemporary imagery and bold use of colour. The Indigenous Sami people living in the northern part of Scandinavia and Russia address issues such as their own heritage and identity within the Nordic world. Regional identity is also explored from pride in the artists’ own native countries to coded references to their ‘Viking’ past. The book also features works by contemporary Nordic artists who are constantly challenging the idea of the ‘perfect’ Scandinavian social world often projected by these countries to outsiders.

Jill Furmanovsky has been documenting the phenomenon that is Oasis since 1994 and the Definitely Maybe tour, through the tense and difficult shows for Dig Out Your Soul in 2009 and, following a hiatus, to a new beginning in 2025.
Featuring more than 500 exceptional photographs from her archive, this book includes acclaimed and classic shots alongside swathes of candid, behind-the-scenes images, many of which are published here for the very first time.
With unprecedented access, Jill was able to capture strikingly emotive images, recording the band’s raw energy, humour and – at times – their vulnerability. ‘Oasis permitted closeness,’ she commented, ‘and that was a great gift to me as a photographer.’
Weaving sequences together to craft stories and stitch montages, the book brings you right into the room with the musicians. Noel’s foreword is followed by an introduction by Jill, while three expansive pieces by acclaimed author Simon Spence, publicist and writer Johnny Hopkins and music columnist and novelist Laura Barton chart Oasis’s early, mid and late eras. Jill and Noel’s reflections, alongside the photos, give the inside track on key moments, revealing the intimate friendship between band and photographer and reminding us of a remarkable era in music history, right to the edge of their 2025 reunion tour.
This is a book to treasure long after the final encore.

The brainchild of Manhattan native Colm Dillane, Brooklyn-based KidSuper melds a surrealist painter’s sensibility with a whip-smart understanding of trends in youth culture. With bold, colorful inventions that straddle the line between streetwear and truly wearable art, Dillane got his start selling graphic T-shirts out of his dorm room at NYU in the early 2010s.
Losing none of a child’s ability to play well with others, and a mindfulness that anticipated the “circular fashion economy,” Dillane developed an ethic of collaboration that has catapulted him from a DIY downtown storefront to one of the most anticipated shows during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. His mania for tactile and textural effects were on display in a series of memorable shows that were buzzworthy as much for the fashion on display as the icons walking the runway, from New York favorites such as Action Bronson to footballing legends such as Ronaldinho to performances by global superstars like Rosalía.
His provocations, complete with an unmatched soundtrack, won him acclaim at the highest levels, securing him a coveted assignment to design an entire menswear collection for Louis Vuitton prior to the appointment of Pharrell Williams. As such, this book incorporates the artwork and all-over graphics that have won him fans from New York to Tokyo, approximating some of the explosive energy that is at the heart of his designs.

A must-have for lovers of streetwear style and its influence on high fashion, this third volume follows up on Rizzoli’s best-selling monographs on the work of Fujiwara. Documenting the continuing adventures of the “godfather of streetwear,” the book is at once a visual catalog of his most recent collaborations and an ever-evolving record of his enduring impact on contemporary fashion, art, and design.
Fujiwara is recognized the world over as a pioneer in streetwear, music, and art, and the ultimate arbiter of cool. Known internationally as one of the founding fathers of the 1990s Ura-Harajuku scene, Fujiwara exerts a disproportionate influence over contemporary design culture. With recent collaborations from Fendi to Maserati and with his mainstay work at Nike, Nintendo, and Moncler and Medicom, Fujiwara refines an aesthetic immersed in punk, hip-hop, anime, and skate culture and translates it into pure luxury.
A musician and producer originally from western Japan, Fujiwara is one of the most prolific of sneaker designers, and his kicks remain some of the most sought-after collectibles. In addition to his very visible and long-standing collaborations with major Western brands, he has long associations with Japanese disruptors like Jun Takahashi of Undercover, and is at the head of the Tokyo-based Fragment Design. This book catalogues his current preoccupations, with chapters on his highly sought-after artwork and graphics, sneakers, product design, and curated personal effects. Heavy on graphic design, this book provides a unique glimpse into one of the most influential tastemakers of our time.
