The historic Lebanese city of Byblos is a destination that has long captured the attention of entertainers, artisans, historians, and culture mavens alike. Occupied by passionate visitors and locals, the city provides a beloved cuisine prepared with fresh meats, herbs, and robust spices.
Our Byblos scent speaks to the effervescent, yet authentic culture the city is known for by combining sense-heightening, sweet and tangy sumac berries with the subtle, lush aroma of a smooth olive oil. Finally, the pleasant smell of sweet green anise effortlessly unites each note of this charming blend.

The aroma of our Wakayama scent combines coveted regional spices that will take your senses on an immersive journey. The floral Sansho Pepper evokes an enticing feeling of warmth, while the citrusy Yuzu offers a sublime fragrance reminiscent of sweet and sour flavors often used in Japanese kitchens. For its concluding notes, the scent is finalized by the robust earthy notes of toasted sesame.

Neandertal
The darker, more shadowed version of Neandertal. A scent of movement that challenges perfumery conventions.
The top note structure of Neandertal dark comprises leafy, aromatic and textural sensations, symbolic of nature; trees, plants, flowers and citrus fruits.
Initially, pepper berries and incense clash against this delicate foliage accord, pushing, pulling and in time combining to create a transgressive and original iodine profile as Neandertal dark evolves.
Sandalwood and cedar provide a durable foundation for Neandertal dark. The inclusion of oud and leather adds unusual animalic depth and resinous shadow.
Earthy rhizome materials reintroduce the familiar green facets in a darker manner. An accord comprising vetiver, patchouli and musk is offset against amber bringing both vibrancy and richness to Neandertal dark.

Deeper, smokier tones such as vetiver, sandalwood, oud, and musk create a well-rooted familiarity and sense of security, while a citric and green woody profile creates energy within them.

Ember’s black wax is created using a blend of mineral, coconut and rapeseed wax. While the rapeseed and mineral waxes are sourced sustainably in Europe, the coconut wax comes from group of small holder farmers in the Philippines.
