A few weeks ago we were honored by the visit of Baptiste Bouygues, the man behind French-based fragrance Maison Ormaie. The brand that transforms perfume into a piece of interior design. All of their fragrances are composed solely of natural ingredients with the ultimate goals of elegance and quality. After a detailed presentation of perfumes and staff training, we had the opportunity to ask a few questions which you can find answered in this blog.

According to Matthew Williams, founder and creative director, 1017 ALYX 9SM stands for a metropolitan and industrial sensibility that is never dry or cold. Function and comfort, which are mandatory for both 1017 ALYX 9SM and Moncler, define a modern line up of modular outerwear. Puffers, padded parkas, featherweight parka windbreakers, sleeveless vests and bonded leather pieces are mixed with functional base layers and hi-impact accessories such as chain belts with hooks, hooded backpacks and neoprene boots with rubber soles. The color palette is suitably metropolitan: dominantly black, grey and white with outbursts of orange and red.

Stockholm-based niche perfumer Stora Skuggan has just expanded its offer by the fourth perfume called Mistpouffer. The fragrance creates the right balance between being distinctive and inexplainable. Foggy but not aquatic, floral but not domesticated, smoky but not heavy. Natural, but in equal parts supernatural.
A Mistpouffer is an unexplained natural sound, a sonic boom like distant cannon fire that seems to come out of the fog over large lakes or rivers. It has been recorded all over the world throughout history, and is the source of many legends. In Japan the phenomenon is called Uminari meaning “cries from the sea”. In Connecticut the Machimoodus State Park gets its name from the Native American name for the area, which means “place of bad noises”.

ADIDAS ORIGINALS BY 424 available at Storm 30th November.
For FW19, adidas Originals headed to Fairfax, Los Angeles to team up with one of the West Coast’s most sought-after brands, 424.
424 was co-founded by Guillermo Andrade, and for his first collaboration with adidas Originals, Andrade applied the same vision to three classic adidas footwear models. Despite his undoubtedly contemporary design instincts, Andrade leans on the cleaner, more refined aspects of his sensibilities, ensuring that each shoe feels utterly fresh while still retaining the timeless craftsmanship and attention-to-detail that has come to define adidas’ sporting heritage over the decades.
First up, Andrade turned to the SC Premier, an already minimalist model. In Andrade’s hands, the shoe is stripped back even further: one pair arrives utterly blacked out while the other is an all-off-white affair. Exterior logos of any sort are limited to a subtle laser engraved 424 logo on lateral of tooling and the co-branding on the tongue, which is also the only part of the shoe to feature a pop of color – the scarlet red patch that has become synonymous with the 424 brand in recent years.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Motown, the iconic record label launched in 1959 in Detroit, Michigan by Berry Gordy Jr., Carhartt WIP will release a thirteen-piece capsule collection on November 14.
The collaboration honors a label that reshaped the sound of American pop music, diversifying by its airwaves in the process. To mark the collection launch, we reached out to Detroit native Kenny Dixon Jr. aka Moodymann and asked him to prepare a strictly Motown music Carhartt WIP Radio show, that displays his personal love for the label.

Le Fix was founded in Copenhagen in 1999 by Benny Kusk, Rasmus Jacobsen and Jesper Holm, and from the very beginning the store on Guldbergsgade ?served as a framework? for the brand's history, which spans from design to art, street culture, tattoos, graffiti, music and clothing.
Today, Le Fix is ??an established name on the culture and fashion scene, but has managed to brand's mascot, Kaj, as the main focus. Kaj has been a part of Le Fix from the beginning and the logo for the collection illustrates Kaj as he started out, how he looks today and what he could become in the future.
The collection consists of two t-shirts and a hoodie. In addition, two t-shirts, in very limited numbers, have been screen printed in Denmark, following the same technique used to produce the brand's very first t-shirts in 1999.
