British fashion designer Bella Freud founded her eponymous fashion brand in 1990. She quickly became a favorite in fashion, due to the success of her signature sweaters with slogans such as „Je t’aime Jane“ and „Ginsberg is God“ which was a tribute to Jane Birkin and poet Allen Ginsberg. The next step was to translate the design ideas into scent, which is when the brand released its first range of covetable scented candles with the same slogans. After teaming up with perfumer Azzi Glasser, the scents have been taken to the next level and a trio of perfumes has been launched! While “Ginsberg is God” is a unisex perfume and has slightly more masculine notes such as Black Pepper and sacred woods, “Je t’aime Jane” and “1970” is more an homage to the feminine, seductive, and smoldering sexiness of the 1970s with Jasmin Night Flower, Orange Blossom, Rose de Mai and blonde wood notes. We talked to talented and visionary artist Julien Colombier about his inspiration, words of wisdom and favorites tunes. How would you describe your artwork in one sentence? I’d rather not try to describe it with words but it’s about building a sensual visual atmosphere. What can we expect opening your newest publication "Like a Jungle Sometimes“? A trip, I hope. What is your biggest source of inspiration? The incredible nature, the very small details of everyday life, and music of course. Best advise you ever got? Don’t give up lazy boy! Top 5 songs at the moment? Caskets/Nerhuviandoom, I feel all right/ the Stooges, Vocabulary spills/De la soul, The Come Up /Jon Wayne, Dazed and confused/Led Zeppelin.

We interviewed stylist and art director Simon Rasmussen, one of the two creatives behind 100 Great Danes. When did you start thinking about this book? About seven years ago I started to work with Bjarke Johansen and during one of those shoots we had the idea to create a clean, beautiful nude book. All images are inspired by the 90s super model era celebrating strong, beautiful women. How did you find and select those 100 beautiful Danes? We chose girls from our network to begin with and soon expanded our search through model agencies and friends. The book is not a selection of the top 100 most beautiful Danes in the world – it is a hand picked selection of personalities and features we find inspiring. All models worked on this project on a pro bono base supporting the art project in form of this book. Why and how are you supporting the White Ribbon project with this book? We decided very early on to link this project to a charity organization, when we found the White Ribbon and Sloggi team fighting to raise awareness about violence against women, we knew we could help. Our book is a tribute to all women and it has created a lot of media attention for this cause. What is your favorite photo? That’s a really tricky question. I have some favorite moments. For example when we shot Lykke May on a ranch in Colorado, we asked her spontaneously if she could ride a horse. Without any hesitation and fully nude she did it - with absolute grace - a beautiful moment. Or when we shot Christine Sofie in front of the Ayers Rock, jumped a fence - and got caught… What’s the next book, “100 Great Men”? (Laughs) No, we don’t know, we might do an international version. Also I’m working on a new magazine focusing on art culture and fashion called "Office“, so I’m pretty busy. It is made in New York and is an eclectic mix of what me and the two other editors like. Office is a very serious title, we like the clash of the artistic content and the conservative title of the magazine.

The Miftari brothers, who founded the brand in 2011, continue to be inspired by the streets of Frederiksberg, which they refer to as the Vatican of Copenhagen. They combine this tribute to Frederiksberg with a fascination of Italian design. This mix of inspiration results in timeless designs with a twist of functionality and comfort. Featuring large-format photographs of skaters in Venice Beach and Manhattan Beach,Palm Angels is the definitive book on the L.A. skateboarding scene, capturing the style and street culture of the world's most elite communities of skaters. Photographed by Francesco Ragazzi, the Italian art director of Moncler, Palm Angels features a special focus on the look and fashions of skate culture. While it emphasizes dramatic movement through stunning images taken in various Los Angeles neighborhoods, it is less focused on describing tricks as it is about conveying the sensation of men and women engaged in an epic, all-consuming activity.
