AW13 Astrid Andersen

Danish London based designer Astrid Andersen once again presented a breath taking fashion show for her AW13 collection combing classic streetwear with pure luxury. The inspiration was found in photographer Joachim Ladefogeds' documentary book on Danish bodybuilders and a quote from that book. "The sprinter has the time to race, the weightlifter has the weights, the bodybuilder only has the mirror“. Storm exclusively pre-launched a handpicked selection of t-shirts by Astrid Andersen especially designed for Storm.

Artist Virgil Abloh designed a glorious collection based on his high school experience. Pusha-T drug raps. Champion gym uniforms. Caravaggio obsession. Michael Jordan as God. Kurt Cobain felt the most real. Black kid with white tendencies. Being self-taught was the extent of his art education. TV Show Maison KitsunÈ

We are pleased to unveil you the Maison Kitsuné “Show Business”, staged as a TV taping and directed by Kitsunés favorite fashion filmmaker Loïc Prigent, which showcases the house’s Fall-Winter 2013 Women presentation in Florence at Pitti W. This eclectic presentation, a mix of both fashion and music, is starring Verbal and Yoon, Say Lou Lou, Yelle, Eli & Fur, Citizens! dressed in Maison Kitsuné, and of course, the Maison Kitsuné’s masterminds, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. Backstage, dressings, artists rocking the tapestry dressed walls, vibes on stage… Watch the short and long version of the TV show just as if you were in!
