The fleece offers a minimal take on this mountain-infused, vintage climbers’ wardrobe staple, crafted in Austria. For Spring 2025, the fleece is developed in exclusive monochromatic tones. In addition to the shorts, Rier introduces the new bermuda style to complete the Fleece’ wardrobe, featuring an elastic waistband with an easy adjustable strap, two side pockets and one patch pocket on the back.

This natural wool fleece-pile requires reduced washes, is perfect for mid season and is ultra lightweight with a fluffy soft surface. Wool offers natural comfort by regulating the individual body temperature.

Walker Skirt Long, perfect for all seasons, this special color is made of a 100% undyed wool blend, woven like a knit and felted like a Loden. This explains the garment's lightness, natural stretch, silence in movements and its ability to not wrinkle. It remains extremely lightweight while protecting and regulating body temperature. The Walker skirt features a hidden zipper and high slit on the left leg, sits on the lower waist.

The first instances of this garment were discovered in official sales documents dating back to the Middle Ages, when a local Austrian craftsman started producing this special wool fabric.
