Volume XII considers the connections between home – a source of comfort, shelter and inspiration – and design, not just the structures and objects but also the immaterial, the atmospheres and sense of belonging that shape our daily lives and our society. Central elements are the materials, craftsmanship and traditions that are integrated into modern design to instil meaning and authenticity. We explore how design influences emotions and behaviour by creating intimate and thoughtful spaces that nurture creativity and contemplation.

Anders Overgaard
Danish photographer and director, Anders Overgaard, gives a rare insight into the famed Burning Man festival that takes place in Nevada's Black Rock Desert with his latest book, Nothing Left Behind. Through his inspiring and daring images, Overgaard's limited edition photo book of the annual festival unites pictures and words in a poetic narrative about the bond that occurs between people, music, art and fashion.
Stories and quotes are included from P.Diddy, Frederik Bockhahn, D.J Pierce, Maor Cohen and Overgaard, himself. "It was a photo dream: a scenery that played out for my eyes - with beautiful people in extraordinary outfits," says Overgaard.
The release of Nothing Left Behind will coincide with a gallery exhibition of Overgaard's images from the festival at Jason McCoy Gallery (41 East 57th Street, 11th Floor, NYC 10022), on September 27, 2017. Overgaard is an international photographer/director living between New York City and Copenhagen, with campaign and editorial contributions including Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, Omega, Nautica and BMW.
Guido Mocafico
In 1999, pioneering fashion editor and stylist Babeth Djian founded Numéro, the now famous Paris magazine with an unmistakable aesthetic that boldly combines fashion, contemporary art, music and design. Guido Mocafico has photographed provocative still-lifes for Numéro since its first issue, and this comprehensive six-volume publication contains all this work to date.
Every month Babeth gives Mocafico carte blanche for the closing pages of Numéro, a rare privilege in today’s advertising-driven fashion magazines. In response he creates radical still-lifes (of objects including perfume bottles, shoes, watches and jewelry) that incorporate the genres of architecture, landscape and nude photography, and make comparable work in other magazines look like uninspired product shots. The experimental forum offered to Mocafico by Numéro facilitates his maverick, sometimes critical view of contemporary vanity, and has given birth to some of his larger influential series including “Medusa,” “Movement,” “Serpens” and “Stilleven.”
Specifications - 6 volumes: 1324 pages. Softcover in slipcase. Four-colour process. 23 x 30cm.
stormfashion.dk
A highly collectable numbered and signed limited-edition book documenting Shore's influential road trip across America in 1973, including a facsimile of the journal he kept, as well as photographs he made along the way. Shore's journal meticulously itemizes where he stayed, what he ate, what he watched on TV, which photographs he took and how many miles he drove, alongside pasted-in ephemera such as receipts, postcards and parking tickets. A section of plates showcases every photograph he took while on the road, from small town high streets to plates of food, from hotel rooms to portraits of locals. This collection brings together the entire body of work for the first time, including iconic shots, outtakes and unpublished photographs.
Specifications - Limited to 3,300 slipcased copies, each one numbered and signed by the photographer.
