This jumper with intarsia motifs is an homage to the 1950s American college style Nigo holds so dear. The artistic director also added a contrasting 'BOKE FLOWER' crest in a nod to his Japanese heritage. The bubble shape, with wide sleeves that narrow at the cuffs, emphasises its vintage character. The number 70 on the front symbolises the year the first KENZO shop opened, while the KENZO "K" adorns the sleeve.
